Second Cup (Bliss)

Spacious and cozy coffeeshop for students right off Bliss street

Conveniently located near one of AUB's main gates, Second Cup has become an absolute student favorite. Second Cup has become synonymous with a cozy study spot where students cluster to socialize while sipping on their caffeine-infused drink of choice.

A sizable outdoor patio usually accommodates large groups of people in a smoking-friendly environment. An indoor area provides a quieter spot for those looking to single-mindedly focus on their work. The usual selection of coffeeshop-type sandwiches and desserts can be found a quick nibble. Nothing out of the ordinary; perhaps a quick strawberry cheesecake to satiate a sweet tooth in between classes or a 4-cheese sandwich to fuel a cram session for an upcoming test.

Pluses: Great atmosphere for a younger crowd, large venue and geographical convenience for students. Downfalls: Average food and may be considered too busy for those looking for some piece of mind
