Hidden behind flowers planted in chunky coffee beans bags, with an inviting indoor seating open 24/7, the liquor coffee store is a coffee shop by day and a bar by night.

You can pass and enjoy your drink, stoke your pantry or soon buy your ground coffee beans too.

Rabih is there to welcome you with a lovely smile and prepare your fresh cup of coffee!

The place is a mix of industrial decoration to modern art, the architect did an amazing job we have to say!

The interiors are divided between the bar area, a bench with views on the street, and sort of living room sofas in a round convivial shape plus other separate seats.

I picked my spot and grabbed their cappuccino: intense flavor and I enjoyed every sip!

I also tried their regular American to which I added skimmed milk and I also loved it.

Would definitely recommend it and cannot wait to be back!

Franchising the famous Milano restaurant chain, Paper moon landed in Ashrafieh, retouching an old Lebanese house with Italian vibes.

On the authentic Abdel Wahab street, a small turn to the right, a few steps and there you are living la Dolce vita.

Pick your table on their vibrant terrace or indoor where the hues of beige and famous portraits add a touch of authenticity.

Dim lights are distributed on the tables, giving warmth and coziness ambiance.

We enjoyed the bread drizzled with extra virgin olive oil and served with green onions to tickle our appetite before starting the meal.

We ordered:

Salmon tartare: with avocado and pepper corns: a generous tasty portion

Octopus salad: fresh ingredients and delicious mix

Fettucine with two different sauces: rosé and white sauce: al dente just like italians love it!

The evening was enjoyable on their terrace and would definitely recommend it!

The Food Dealer Menu, Reviews, Photos, Location and Info - Zomato
My quest never stops to explore my city with all my senses; and how thrilled I am when in one spot I spoil the five-six of them!

Those secret gems, that are bursting in Mar Mkhayel, excite me as if I am on a treasure hunt! Luckily I am rarely deceived.

After several attempts to visit the food dealer, I finally made it on a sunny Saturday to catch up with my friend over tasty lunch.

Just when you are at the corner, you are transported to an Italian village with Bougainvillea flowers falling from the balconies and outdoor inviting seating calling you to sit and relax.

Step inside, and the chilling vibes with brightful colors that are cure to any stress. A beautiful decoration was still hanging from the ceiling after one of the owner's birthday celebration the night before.

Tables are distributed in different areas where each can have the most comfortable home-like seating to enjoy the meal.

We ordered

Rocacchino: green leaves mixed with apples, flaxseed, blue cheese which we asked to be on the side along with another side of feta, all drizzled with a white dressing: freshness and creaminess in the same time.
IMG_4325

Salmocado: tangy mix of greens with avocado and smoked salmon sprinkled with sunflower seeds and coated with lemon mustard sauce.

The service, the food, the atmosphere, the music and the location were the perfect mix to enjoy our lunch.

I would love to come back and try their animated evenings too!

East Village
31 May 2017 | 1 user found this helpful.

Discretely hidden behind glass doors, in the vibrant street of Badaro, with their reputation spreading all over social media of the mouth-watering photos of their plates, East village has everything to please.

Dim lights, brick walls, wooden tables: an ambiance that transports you to Manhattan.

The menu is sophisticated as of an upscale restaurant yet chill atmosphere and attentive staff gives it a relaxed touch of come as you are!
We made sure to reserve earlier and were welcomed with lovely smiles.

We opted for:

Shrimp Kale ceasar: generous bowl filled with superfood from kale to lettuce and cherry tomatoes topped with grilled shrimps seasoned to enhance the taste of a scrumptious mixture

Bluefine tuna poké: Everything I love from my favorite tuna coated with a delicious dressing sweetened with mango cubes and topped with nori papers, black sesame and crispy mix: with each bite transporting you to the most exotic destination

I was a bit disappointed of my experience.
On a saturday evening, the music was less then average for a pub, it was only boosted in late hours but the type of music before was not encouraging.
Add to that rude waiters that ruined the experience too.
Too bad really as this place could be better.

Truly a luxurious experience! I enjoyed a relaxing time by their pool with an ultimate five stars service!
Clean interiors, upscale service and lovely vibes.
Worth the drive and teh price to pay.
We ordered:
- Kale salad to which i added grilled tuna: i have one comment regarding the kale that was not massaged which affected it absorbing the dressing
- Quinoa salad: was tasty and fulfilling
- Grilled calamari: cooked to perfection
- Fattoush served with crispy tortilla !

We also enjoyed their minted and pink lemonades as well as iced coffee!
A nice escapade indeed!

Happy hour listening to Ziad and Fairouz anyone? Yes and yes and yes!
I just love this place: the beautiful chilliaxing vibes and the authentic decoration.
The food is basic lebanese simple and tasty: we tried the fatoush, the arayes kafta, batata harra and homos.
A must try!

Average Price per person: $15.00

I was totally disappointed with my experience. Lack of professionalism to the utmost.
I called to place a delivery order: the host was so lost and i had to repeat several times my order. I asked how long would it take he said around half an hour maximum. Few minutes later we get a call back that they had a problem with the server and we had to give AGAIN the order. More than one hour and half to get delivered less then average two salads with inadequate price tag:
- the strawberry goat cheese: as you imagine you will get an exotic salad while it was MEH
- quinoa chicken salad: under cooked quinoa and lacked flavors

What a mess!
