Karnaval

Blink and you’ll miss it. Yet Karnaval is not small, not in space, nor in might. Open for less than a year, this two-story restaurant located in the Assurex Building of Beirut souks is making waves.
If you’re bored with the same old fare that seems to pop up on every menu in Beirut, Karnaval is for you. Their menu offers a wide selection of salads, quiches, sandwiches and soups. Their salads and quiches are particularly good with creative mixtures and only the freshest of ingredients, made-to-order. For example, if you’ve eve wondered what it would taste like to eat a flower, head to Karnaval.
Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the place seems to be targeting employees around the area but it would be a mistake to miss it, wherever you are. Not only do their dishes taste great, they also look too good to eat! A carnival of colors and flavors indeed. The indoor space has a hip but timeless feel to it with sober wooden panels and colorful paintings on display. The outdoor courtyard, which seats up to 30 people, makes for a pleasant option in clement weather. Take-away and grab-and-go services are also available.
