3 photo print limited editions by Chérine Yazbeck
20 years old Chérine Yazbeck returned from exile in the aftermath of the civil war, to discover a torn, bruised, destroyed Beirut. Wandering around with her camera, she settles her accounts with the overwhelming fascination the city operates on a young photographer. The first batch was successful and the limited edition box-set of contact sheets in 2012 was sold out in no time. We decided to give the out-of-print project another life through three different series of limited edition prints: a vertical print featuring 72 pictures of her peregrinations through Beirut city-center between 1991 and 1996, a triptych of the Orient building and an emblematic picture of the Orient building in color.
