Wonderful guest house in an old Lebanese house from the early 20th century.
Beyt is a beautiful place to stay when visiting Beirut. Beyt is located in the 1st floor of a fantastic three arch house. A beautiful living room and exhibition area is joined to the breakfast room all of it with great high ceilings.
The apartment has four sleeping rooms: a master bedroom with its own en-suite bathroom and a queen size bed, a bedroom with a dedicated bathroom across the corridor (probably the most beautiful room), the twin bedroom also has a dedicated bathroom across the corridor it is very spacious, but you can add to the corner bedroom which is the smallest of the four. Access to this room if you rent it as single is through the garden, it also offer two beds, and the bathroom is across the patio. The prices are reasonable ranging from ($120 master bedroom double occupancy to $55 for the corner bedroom single occupancy).
You have access to the main area, kitchen facilities (including washer etc.), work from the living room (very good Wifi available)hold meetings or invite friends
As the house is on the bottom of a hill on Armenia street in Mar Mikhael the 1st floor is joined to a beautiful garden that is simply perfect for sitting outside after hard days work or visiting the country.
Breakfast is a buffet, simple and Lebanese, zaatar, labneh, jams veggies and fruit, coffee tea, but what else would you want. There is also always somebody on site or right below in Plan B - art gallery and bookshop - and Zawal - regional crafts and goodies shop.
