The Attic Bar

To step forward onto the floor of The Attic Bar is also to take a step back in time. Inside this vintage time capsule patrons find themselves immersed in a display of antique treasures even an avid collector could be proud of. In reality, the Attic is more like a trendy version of your relative’s living room with a unique but familiar atmosphere meant to recall the comfortable feeling of your grandmother’s home.

Artistically inclined individuals will fit right in with the crowd of designers, directors, actors and architects that frequent the restopub. Although there isn’t a drink menu The Attic Bar is equipped to accommodate a wide variety of requests. If your stomach is empty there are several options to satisfy your hunger. Among the most notable meals is the Old Fashion Burger, which is home made from a generous 250 grams of fresh Angus beef on a special bun.

In between drinks be sure to make notice the antique furnishings throughout the interior. Worn suitcases, an empty perfume bottle and assorted jewelry are just some of the items that tell the story of the venue’s fabled Old Man. The fictional story recounts how an elderly husband once fell in love with another woman and their relationship blossomed in secret among the homey spaces of The Attic Bar. His story further unfolds through quotes that regularly appear on the restopub’s Facebook page.

Despite the vintage theme and oldies music, The Attic Bar isn’t stuck in the past. On Fridays and Saturdays the venue brings in DJ’s that add a distinctly modern flavor to its theme.
