Kayan

Comfortable night out with decent prices and quality cocktails.

Certainly a place to come back to.  Kayan is a rather popular spot on Lebanon street, just up from Gemmayze. It was the first pub along this side of Lebanon street and has since its opening not far from a decade ago always drawn a crowd.

A friendly mood and a good vibe, you are always sure to find those at Kayan. The dark leather interior, a long bar, seductive lighting, and good cocktails professionally served along usually very appropriate music make for a fun evening.

The food is decent and what you would expect in a bar, very good sandwiches and salads, though only the former will provide a good base for the seductive cocktails -- but all is very tasty.  The home-made salsa and nachos are complementary.

That the cocktails are good isn't very surprising as the owners learned their trade in Pacifico.  The probably most famous drink there is the Tiramisu shot, especially for those with a sweet tooth, and is definitely worth a try. Prices are much the same as elsewhere and service is welcoming by friendly barmen  -- It wouldn't be a surprise if you would choose to become a regular here.
