Your very own Italian square in the heart of Beirut: No visa required.
Imagine yourself sitting in a square in Naples, watching locals hang out their laundry to dry while you wait for your pizza to be ready. There yet? Just head to La Piazza; it may become easier. La Piazza is one of the first Italian Trattorias to open in Beirut and one of the rare ones still going strong.
Open for close to 20 years now, it was designed around the theme of an authentic Italian town square, each house with tables and chairs arranged in an enclosed cobbled street. Rustic Italian town houses overlook the square. Each house is individually designed and contributes to the unique Italian atmosphere. The end of the street includes Pizzaiolos and wood-fired pizza ovens. The fun setting and amusing details – think a pair of boxers hanging on washing lines and waiters in straw hats - are instant conversation ice-breakers.
The menu is centered on genuine Italian cuisine, with hearty dishes prepared according to established Italian recipes, and yet considerate of local tastes. The generous portions and affordable prices make La Piazza an ideal place for family outings, casual dates and group celebrations. Valet Parking is available.
