La Nuit des Musées 2016

After the success of the previous two editions of "La Nuit des Musées" with more than 5000 visitors at the National Museum, 4000 the MIM museum, 3000 at the Museum of the Banque du Liban, hundreds at AUB Archaeological Museum in USJ, University of Balamand and Debbané Palace, the Ministry of Culture, in cooperation with 11 museums, decided to arrange this event again this year. These museums will open their doors to the public, the night of April 8, to allow largest possible number of people to visit for free.

Museums that are taking part in the event:
-Nicolas Sursock Museum
-Beirut National Museum 
-Minerals Museum 
-Musée de Préhistoire Libanaise de l’Université Saint-Joseph
-Villa Audi
-AUB Archaeological Museum 
-Central Bank Museum
-Soap Museum 
-Musée "Aram Bezikian" des orphelins du Génocide Arménien
-Musée Pépé Abed 
-Musée ethnographique de l’Université de Balamand

For the Beirut area, a shuttle bus will be available every 30 minutes to the stops listed below: -Route for BUS 1: National Museum of Beirut, MIM Museum, Lebanese Prehistory in USJ, Villa Audi, Sursock Museum
-Route for BUS 2: Beirut National Museum, Museum BDL, AUB Archaeological Museum.
