Student of the famous Russian mezzo-soprano Mrs. Galina Khaldeeva, Miss Tara Maalouf finished her BA in Opera singing in 2012 in the Lebanese Higher Conservatory of Music. She has a BA in Psychology (1997), a DES in Drama (2004) from the Lebanese University (first in class), and a Masters in Performing Arts and Stage Directing from USEK (2012) earned with honors and distinction. She has been honored in the United Arab Emirates with only three other students from the Arab worlds for her Masters Thesis which they published as a book. She is now starting her doctorate in drama in the Lebanese University, and has been teaching at NDU "Performing Arts", "Introduction to Arts & music", "Art & Culture", and how to develop the personality overcoming shyness and fear, since 2006, and has taught in AUST students with Special Needs. Currently, she is a vocal teacher in NDU School of Music and Ndu university, and has been a soloist in: NDU, Antonines, AUB and the Lebanese Higher Conservatory choir since 2006. She sang in the Bustan Festival 3 times, in Germany, Lebanon and Syria with the Sarband group, with the ESA, then the French embassy, and in 2011 with the Lebanese National Symphony Orchestra for the composer Jamal Abou el Hosn. In February 2013 she sang with the symphony orchestra the lead role of the opera "Carmen" for the composer Georges Bizet.
