Caffe Gianni

You gotta love Beirut. We dare venture that the turnover rate of our Food and Beverage establishments rivals that of cities like London or NYC! It may not be great news for restaurant owners but it sure as hell is no cause for complaint among foodies like us.

Caffe Gianni is the latest addition to the ABC mall Ashrafieh restaurant lineup. Open for about five months now, Gianni boasts a wide selection of Italian fare including pizzas, pastas and cold cuts Located on the third level of the mall, the spacious blue-walled interiors are filled with natural light, allowing guests to dine in an oasis of tranquility and decidedly non-mall like setting. Offering breakfast, lunch and dinner, including set formulas, this restaurant caters to all tastes. With generous portions and good food, it is an ideal place to take a shopping break.
For those of you with a sweet tooth, try their decadently rich hot chocolate and/or their truffle gelato. That’s right: A hefty portion of ice cream coated with a chocolate truffle robe. You are welcome. Just don’t blame us for the extra kilos. That said, you can always indulge in Gianni’s selection of “detox” vegetable/fruit juices, if you prefer. The best of all worlds, no?
