The Sporting Club, an institution for Beirut socialists. Nothing fancy, just the basics but the pools are cleaned daily and will cool you down nicely in the blistering summer humid heat of Beirut. Weekends are generally very busy with families, weekdays can be a little more relaxed. Some good stories to be heard from the crispy old timers that seem to live there and the pool snacks are pretty good also.
During the night on the weekends the upper deck turns into a mad electronic music festival with the popular decks on the beach and C u next Saturday parties drawing a younger hip crowd.
