We decided with my friend to try the new Yabani outlet in Downtown, very nice architecture however the place looks very tight i did not understand why the upper floor could not be used in a different way. Tables were fully booked that evening but still waiters managed to keep their professional smile and service very comforting to see that when you suffer from awkward behavior of a lot of waiters these days. Difefrent waiters were coming to the table and the main one Fouad made sure that we had nothing missing, with the pelligrino not only he got us the lemon juice in a generous portion but also lemon slices, and he was very attentive we dont lack of ginger! We were also approached by a waiter who gently told us to eat the temaki first so it doesnt get soaked.

The dinner was ok, i loved that photos are displayed on ipad for most of the menu items, we had the seaweed and cucumber salads good portions and very nice presentation, however i was deceived by the sushi, even though the menu seems versatile, i found that they lack of creativity in the maki rolls, and the sizes are also mini. To be honest it took us a while to try to pick different rolls, we finally got the grilled shake, the shrimp, the mixed salmon white fish ones and the spicy tuna and salmon temakis. it was nice that the rolls came as we asked with less rice but still i found that the taste was average.

I hope they review their menu and add more creativity.
