Eid Beirut 2015

Eid Beirut is a street festival with...you guessed it!...the usual suspects: live entertainment, art exhibitions, children's play areas and what else but lots and lots of mouthwatering food. It is a three day celebration that is guaranteed to include the one ingredient common to all Lebanese street festivals: boatloads of Fun. With a capital F. Taking place in the heart of Beirut Central District, the holiday event promises to serve up a hefty dose of good cheer and good old-fashioned fun in the sun. But beyond the obvious merriness, festivals are a celebration and a tribute to local communities; they are a pledge of loyalty to local talent and products, a promise of solidarity for when shit hits the fan - which is always a plus in our neck of the woods- Festivals provide opportunities for artists to interact and share their inspirations, they enrich visitors and capture the essence of a culture.
