This event has finished

Just like every year, since almost a century back, The Zambo Carnival takes place in Al Mina (Tripoli). It's a traditional celebration held in Al Mina on "Sunday Al Marfaa" the start of the Christian Lent. The Carnival is represented by people covering their bodies with black paint made of coal, wearing skirts and some animal customs like Gorilla or bear ones.
