Place is a hidden gem indeed, you get a feeling of real authentic italian place especially with the outdoor seating. Inside very classy. But a restaurant is about a whole experience.
At first, even though it was clear we are by the door with the pouring rain outside, the servers behind the door where only staring and didn't bother to open the door for us, once inside no one offered to take our coats.
There are too many servers and their presence ruins any sort of privacy on the table, there where what seems to be two managers both in the same dining area, and surrounded by around 3-4 waiters who sort of keep an eye on every breath u take, it was so uncomfortable.
We ordered:
Pesto dip with the bread basket: please train the waiters on the difference between pesto and basil leaves (we were first served basil instead of pesto); however this pesto is out of this world: i still recall the taste with a smile, please consider selling jars of it
Pumpkin soup from the daily special: fair not bad and a good portion not as the waiter described it
Bruschetta pomodorino: so fade, tasteless, luckily i had asked earlier for the pesto as a dip for the bread basket (very tasty and thin hot bread|) which we used in the meal frequently to add some kick to the food we had. Maybe you should consider using cherry baked tomatoes instead?
Bruschetta di Burrata: equally fade, we didn't taste the tomato coulis i doubt there was any, again pesto was useful
Insalata di verdure alla griglia: which had fried eggplant (not so grilled) so we asked to be replaced by beetroot, supposedly it comes with carrot mousseline: a small knob on the side of the plate, and the waiter decided to delay it without even asking us before but the salad was ok
The real DISASTER was the chocolate fondant: for an upscale restaurant it is a real failure: seriously my friend had nausea even i did with only one bite: it reflects a real bad chocolate use, please change the recipe or remove it from the menu even the vanilla icecream is a failure

However what was the ruining part of the experience was our male waiter who apparently was offended of me taking photos of the plates so when he served us the salad he was like are u satisfied with the presentation, is it ok for the photo because till now you have taken photos of everything there is till mine u didn't take. How rude is that, dear management, our photos are your marketing tool, i seriously think your waiters need training because honestly he ruined the whole experience
