Dog lovers rejoice! Mingle with the Animal Kingdom during this one-of-a-kind dog show taking place at the Beirut Hippodrome on June 20th
Beirut Ethical Treatment of Animals (BETA)'s 8th Annual Dog Show, Love me Tender, will take place at the Beirut Hippodrome on June 20th 2015. If you are a pet-owner, dog-lover or simply wish to experience a one-of-a-kind event in Beirut, register now (see below for details). The day promises to be a fun-filled outing combining music, a delicious lunch, children's games and of course...dogs! As with every year, hundreds of canines, adults and children will gather on the Hippodrome’s green grass to enjoy sun and fun, with all proceeds of the event benefiting animals in Lebanon. The show starts at 15.30 with dogs competing for titles such as cutest puppy or best kisser. (The complete list of categories is listed below).

The -human- entrance fee is 10, 000LBP (about 7 USD). Registering a dog will set you back slightly more at 10 USD (are you really asking why BETA values dogs above humans?) Note all dogs must remain on a leash and aggressive pups are required to wear a muzzle. Dont forget to bring your own poop bags to clean up after your dog(s). Registration is via email to : contact@betalebanon.org. Use "Love me tender" as a subject and provide the following information: Guardian name, phone number, email, dog name, breed, age, category.
