Jean Michel Jarre

Jean Michel Jarre (born Jean-Michel André Jarre, (24 August 1948) is a French composer, performer, and music producer. He is a pioneer in the electronic, ambient, and new-age genres, and known as an organiser of outdoor spectacles of his music featuring lights, laser displays, and fireworks.

Jarre’s legendary concerts have attracted Guinness Record-breaking audiences across the planet. They take place in exceptional settings, marking extra-ordinary contexts. The French musician has a dedicated ongoing engagement since 1993 to the United Nations via UNESCO, as Ambassador and spokesperson for Environment and Education and most recently Jean-Michel Jarre was elected President of CISAC in Washington June 6th 2013, succeeding the late Robin Gibb.
