About the DnB Project:
One of the most original acts to ever pop out of Lebanese soil in 2011, The DnB Project is a collective, live and improvised concept trio consisting of a rare combination of electro-acoustic drum’n bass improvisation, also covering genres like ragga, jungle, hardcore and dub. This versatile project is often apt to having guests participate in their improvised performances ranging from vocalists, rappers and instrumentalists regardless of background or culture they might be coming from. The combination is a sound spectrum progressing live throughout the performance, merging an electronic and acoustic sound palette.
The trio of The DnB Project includes:
Liliane Chlela on electronics giving birth to dreamy soundscapes, robot squeals and melodic noise standing on the shoulders of a solid yet liquid rhythm section provided by bassist Bashar Farran and drummer Fouad Afra; together producing the grooviest, funkiest, and darkest beats and measures.
