With his 2 New York Clubs winning every major Award possible and both gracing Rolling Stone Magazine's much coveted Top 10 US Club Awards, you can say he's a major player in the US Club scene. 

His first Club, Cielo, is famous for residencies by two Electronic Music Hall of Famers, Little Louis Vega and François K, and is one of the longest running Nightclubs in the History of the New York Club scene with a 14th Anniversary looming.  

Nicolas often credits the success in opening such accoladed Clubs as Cielo and Output to the fact that he has been DJing since electronic music was first heard.  Whether playing New York or Ibiza, Lebanese-born Matar is known for his music-first approach to the clubbing experience.
