Our hike will be very special. We will walk together in one group. It will be a moderate hike, about 12 km long. There will be no ascents and you will enjoy the breathtaking scenery all along the track. You will see a diverse variety of trees such as Iron Oak, Cedars, Fir, Juniper, Oak, Pine…and many more.
The hike will start from Bat7et el Shouh. The mainly straight and downward trail will lead you to a beautiful Iron Oak forest. These trees are so tall, literary touching the sky. Then the next stop will be at a panoramic cliff where views just cannot be described! You will have the impression of flying and soaring above the whole area! From there, you will go to Akkar el Atika then to Zabbout where Canaanite tombs can be found.
You can refill your water bottles at the two water springs mainly Nabeh el Banet, and Nabeh Hmadi.
The hike will end in Nabeh Hmadi.
After the hike, we will go by bus to Morgan, a Lebanese restaurant atop a hill overlooking the whole region. A delicious meal will be a great way to end this memorable day.
