Within their mission to develop rural tourism and promote sustainable development, Hadath el Jebbeh Municipality & the Development Association in the village invite you to participate in a hiking trip to Qannoubine Valley.

Trail description and info: Hadath el Jebbeh to Mazraat el Naher

The trail starts from the historical church of St. Daniel in Hadath el Jebbeh and passes by “Ain el Dayaa” located on the main road leading to Bcharreh village. From the water spring we will walk down to Qannoubine valley using a dirt road and an ancient footpath. The trail offers many scenic views overlooking Qannoubine valley and Assi el Hadath cave. In the village of Qannoubine we will visit the old school and Saydet el Karm church. From Qannoubine village the footpath will lead us to the ancient monastery of Mar Aboune before continuing between the pine trees and finishing in Mazraat el Naher.

(The price includes local guide, lunch box, and transportation from Mazraat el Naher back to Hadath el Jebbeh)

Transportation from Beirut to Hadath el Jebbeh by your own cars; we encourage car-pooling.
