Beirut Design Week 2017

For its 6th annual edition, Beirut Design Week, under MENA DRC,  returns with 27 central exhibitions at KED - the main exhibition hub in Karantina, as well as over 100 locations all around the capital, to answer this year's critical thematic question; "IS DESIGN A NEED?". 

This year's theme encourages a debate to get designers out of their comfort zones to question commercialization and marketed luxury goods, explore new collaborations, challenge the status quo, defeat assumptions, champion a cause, and potentially change mindsets and human behaviors. 

Over 150 upcoming exhibitions, installations, workshops, talks, tours, films, and parties are just  around the corner!
