Bouyouti

What do you get when you mix Lebanese heritage with a touch of Tuscan charm and a hint of French elegance? Bouyouti, the crown jewel of the Chouf bed and breakfasts.

Nestled in the heart of the Chouf mountains, halfway between Deir el Amar and Beiteddine, this home away from home is a family- owned private escape, offering eight distinct guesthouses surrounding a large pool and a backdrop of tranquil greenery. Each house combines the functionality of its ample spaces with a warm and elegant atmosphere.

The experience starts the moment you cross the gated entrance into a paved pathway studded with colorful blooms on either side, stone guesthouses and a small chapel to complete the panorama. Reach the pedestrian zone and surrender to the serenity of the place, the chirping of birds, the whistling of willows swaying to the rhythm of jasmine-filled breezes. Take a stroll around the premises and admire the large swimming pool bordered by the main estate –where owners of Bouyouti reside- and the lush trim gardens, complete with fountains, swings and fruit-laden trees. Just when you think the place couldn’t possibly get any more beautiful, head down the steps towards the newly added lower section where you’ll be delighted to discover a number of additional guesthouses around a second pool.

Bouyouti is a Lebanese estate-turned bed and breakfast where the personal touch of owner and designer/decorator by trade Ms. Roula Bazergi is apparent in every detail. Guesthouses are spacious and fully equipped (air conditioning can be temperamental; ensure yours is fully functional upon booking for those hot Lebanese summer nights) and can accommodate 2, 3 or 4 people for a total capacity of 24 tenants. Although breakfast is included, they do not serve other meals or drinks; the closest restaurant would be in nearby Beiteddine. The place is also available for rent and caters to private events and small weddings.
